Cherry Peek-A-Boo Bars - Lakeland Cooks!

Cherry Peek-A-Boo Bars Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened 1 and one-half cups sugar 4 large eggs 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling Powdered sugar Directions: Beat butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add 1 and one-half cups sugar. Beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour and lemon juice. Beat well. Pour batter into a greased and floured 15- x 10- x 1-inch jellyroll pan. Score batter into 20 bars. Drop 1 heaping tablespoon of cherry pie filling into center of each bar. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar over warm bars. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
